Hello!
My name is U. T. Post
Writer & artist from Moers / Germany
I've been taking pictures since I was a kid, writing since I was in school, and drawing for twenty years. Not getting discouraged was the real challenge. But I am ambitious.
What I do
Author
I write novels
Drawer
Some say I am a painter.
Photographer
I am a street photographer.
Why work with me?
As a writer and as an artist, I consciously continue to develop myself, work self-critically on myself and my abilities, and in the process grow with the tasks and challenges that come my way.
The basis of my artistic activity lies in my wealth of experience of interpersonal relationships as a driving instructor, quality manager and data protection coordinator.
You will only find this combination with a few authors and artists.
You can reach me by email or via Messenger.
My goals as a writer & artist
Why and how I write
What I want to achieve with my drawings
Certainly there are people who can draw better than I can, although I am often told that my drawings look like photographs. However, realism is not an end in itself; I want my drawings to radiate life. The associated aura is what sometimes gives viewers the impression that I draw photorealistically.
Expression of my photography
In street photography, old buildings often tell me more than new ones. Generations of children running up and down creaking wooden stairs, pushing past nagging neighbors; tired fathers coming home from work and having their wives put dinner in front of them; bitterly cold winters when families crowded around the stoves in the kitchen and living room.
My professional background
Professional curriculum vitae in short form

- Today, I am the data protection coordinator of a Düsseldorf hospital association.
Soft-Skills
Professional experience
Thanks to my many years of experience working with young people and in adult education, I know how people are and how they behave in challenging situations.
Life experience
Joy and sorrow are neighbors. I can deal with both. And write about them.
Empathy
Empathy is an integral part of my professional life. It always has been, until today. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Creativity & Work
Bringing people and stories to life in images and text is my forte. Turning creativity into art is satisfying work for me.
Hard-Skills
Driving instructor
As a driving instructor, you get to know people. How they learn, what scares them, what motivates them, what triggers emotions in them and whether and how they can fight for something.
Lecturer
Through my work as a lecturer, I have learned to help people understand complex issues. This succeeds above all through appropriate language, which on the one hand describes topics pictorially and on the other hand makes people curious to learn more about them. I also use this approach in my stories.
Quality Manager & Privacy Coordinator
The profession of auditor, like that of data protection coordinator, is sometimes associated with pedantic correctness and meticulous compliance with standards and legal texts. In reality, these activities require the ability to moderate, motivate and also manage conflict. They require the ability to present complex issues in a clear and, ideally, interesting manner.
Social Media Manager
In my professional work as a data protection officer, knowledge in this area is sometimes helpful. For an author and artist of today, I consider it indispensable. I am an IHK-certified social media manager.
